Sweet Date Treat for Pitta
You will need:
- 7 pitted Medjool dates
- 1-2 tbsps ghee
- 1 clove
Melt ghee in a pan with the clove.
When ghee is hot and clear, remove from heat. Discard clove.
After the ghee has cooled down some, carefully pour a little of the spiced ghee into the hole in each date where the pit was, with a pointed spoon.
Wrap each date with string and place in the
refrigerator.
Use as needed.
